LINOHM – The online course

This course offers an initial introduction to the complex and multifaceted topic of inclusion in accommodation establishments. It is divided into two main areas: Firstly, how offers for guests can be made more inclusive, and secondly, how inclusion can be implemented in the workplace for employees. The aim is to provide you with impulses and practical approaches that will serve as a solid basis for delving deeper into this important topic. In addition, we offer you ideas for implementation and further in-depth possibilities. The course also helps you to assess your current knowledge – a valuable basis for planning future steps towards inclusion.

Who is this course ideal for – target group

The course is aimed at accommodation providers committed to inclusion and diversity and want to explore new ways to make their services and workplaces more inclusive. The focus is on:

  • Owners and key employees of small accommodation establishments such as private room rentals, apartments or family-run hotels.
  • Managers and department heads in larger companies or hotel chains who can make strategic decisions for inclusion.
  • Interested parties from the tourism industry who would like to develop a more inclusive offer or create jobs for people with disabilities.

Participants should ideally have decision-making authority in their company to implement and pass on what they have learned. Previous knowledge of inclusion is not required—the course offers a sound introduction to the topic. Of course, our course is also available to anyone outside the hotel industry. What you should bring with you is an interest in inclusive working models and tourism offers.
